WHY WE EXIST
Plan like an insider, not a tourist.
A wedding in Italy should be a decision made with clear eyes, not a leap taken in the dark. Yet most couples planning from abroad are handed polished venue websites that all look equally credible, prices that are nowhere to be found, and a country that refuses to explain itself. The gap between what venues show and what a couple needs in order to decide is wide, and nobody was closing it.
The Venue Folio exists to close it. We believe a couple planning from London or Chicago should be able to read Italy the way a local would — to know why one sub-area costs what it does, what a venue won’t put in an email, and what the civil ceremony will ask of them — and to arrive at the table already prepared. Not shielded from the complexity. Equipped to handle it.
HOW THE GUIDES ARE MADE
Orientation, not a database.
Every guide begins the same way: months of reading in Italian, from inside the country. Community reports, local press, comune records, and comparative research — the sources a foreign search never surfaces — narrowed to a shortlist that is documented from primary sources, well rated by the couples who married there, and chosen to span every sub-area and budget.
What reaches the page is organised by sub-area, so you understand the territory before you choose. Every venue carries a real price range built from that research, plus capacity, ceremony options, and one insider tip you wouldn’t find through a standard search.
